Teresa was born in Brooklyn and raised in Queens, NY. A first generation American of Italian decent, her parents achieved the American dream of home ownership when she was three years old. Italian immigrants could very well be the original house flippers. It is often said, she grew up in the house that her father built. However, at 21, she realized the big city was not for her. So she began the journey to find her true home in the USA. Teresa moved to upstate New York and then New Jersey, before she settled in Grapevine, TX in 1999. Her son was born and raised in Texas, which has become her home. Teresa obtained her first long-term part-time job when she was 16, working as a salesperson in Thom McAn for three years. She paid her way through court reporting school and became a court reporter at the age of 19. Although she was very successful and highly requested by the attorneys hiring her, Teresa quit court reporting at 25, finding it to be too boring. She missed the interaction with people.

She then went back to school to obtain an Associate’s in Accounting. She used her skills as a court reporter to gain employment with a local Real Estate attorney to enable her to do so. Once obtaining the degree in accounting, she rose in the ranks from junior accountant up to senior accounting and system analyst, and controller of several construction companies. These careers financed her Bachelor’s in Business Management. After several decades, however, she still missed sales. She knew decades ago, when buying her first home, that real estate was her passion. As a real estate professional, she has been involved in several different transactions. Teresa has worked both the buyer’s and seller’s side of VA financing and clients with physical disabilities. She has worked with investors, first-time home buyers, empty nesters wanting to downsize, and clients who have already retired and using their equity to travel or budget over their remaining years. Her years in business taught her that the key difference amongst companies is customer service. She prides herself on the service she provides her clients. Her knowledge of law, real estate, accounting, finance and construction make her an exceptional resource when representing a client in a transaction. She truly cares about the outcome, which is why she is referred by past clients who become close friends.
